ADANA Fundation

Adana and its objectives

FUNDACIÓN ADANA was settled on May 6, 1997, and registered in the Registry of Private Foundations of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Spain) with the number 1102, on September 25 of the same year.

“ADANA, NON-PROFIT PRIVATE FOUNDATION”

ADANA has as its main goal to improve the quality of life of people with ADHD (Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder). It was created to inform, train and help all those people interested in this disorder, with the aim to develop all the possible means to diminish the negative effects that ADHD has on children, adolescents and adults, in order for them to be able to enjoy a happy life.

Our objective is to sensitize parents, health professionals, primary and secondary education teachers, schools and society in general in order to promote a positive attitude towards this disorder and to offer strategies for its management.

“IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THIS, ADANA IS STRUCTURED AROUND TWO MAIN LINES: DIRECT SUPPORT TO THOSE AFFECTED AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND TRAINING IN EFFECTIVE EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES.”
